10K programme
The entry point to the Lap. Eight to twelve weeks from a standing start or a regular run to a confident, well-paced 10 km on your leg’s terrain.
Every leg of The Greatest Lap is different, so every training programme is too. Choose your distance, and we build the plan around your leg: its elevation, its altitude and its terrain, with a dedicated coach for each distance.
Four programmes, one per leg type. The distance you reserved is the distance you train for, over a plan that runs to the day your leg starts.
Each leg carries its own elevation gain, altitude and terrain. Your plan takes them from the route data and adapts the sessions: hill work for climbing legs, acclimatisation for altitude, surface-specific running for trail, sand or cobbles.
A dedicated running coach behind each programme, developed together with athletes and creators from the running community. Weekly structure, progression and the race-week plan, from the people who run these distances.

Endurance with speed. A twelve-to-sixteen-week build that adds long runs, tempo work and the specific climbing or descending your leg demands.
The full distance, built for the conditions you’ll face. Sixteen to twenty weeks of progressive volume, fuelling practice and race-week planning for your leg.
For the 34 runners taking the longest legs. Twenty-plus weeks of time-on-feet, night running, nutrition and the mental work a 100 km leg asks for.
Leave your email and the distance you’re running. We’ll let you know the moment your programme is ready, and your coach is announced.
